FLOAT VALVE

A float valve is a type of valve that controls the level of a liquid in a tank or reservoir. It consists of a mechanism with a float that rises and falls with the liquid level. As the liquid level rises, the float also rises, which in turn closes the valve to stop the flow of liquid into the tank. Conversely, as the liquid level drops, the float lowers, opening the valve to allow more liquid to enter and maintain the desired level. Float valves are commonly used in applications such as water tanks, livestock troughs, cooling towers, and other systems where maintaining a consistent liquid level is critical. They are simple in design, reliable, and effective for automated control of fluid levels without requiring external power sources.
